He worked for 25 years as a project, programme and project portfolio manager in the research sector. For 13 years, he served as Managing Director and President of the Swiss Project Management Association (spm). From 2010, he worked at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) as Deputy Director of the School of Life Sciences and Facility Management and as Programme Director for Digital Transformation. As managing owner of MbyP GmbH, he now works as a coach and senior consultant.

He holds a PhD in natural sciences, a Master’s degree in project management, is IPMA Level A and B certified, and is an accredited business mediator (SKWM).
