Certified Senior Project Manager IPMA Level B®

The Certified Senior Project Manager IPMA Level B® is capable of managing a complex project. This normally includes subprojects, i.e. the project manager leads the project with the assistance of project engineers and only to a lesser degree by directly managing the project team.

Entry requirements

Minimum of five years' experience in project management

  • of which three years in a responsible management position in complex projects
  • and at least two additional years of practical experience in other project management positions

Certification process

  1. Application for certification with self-assessment
  2. Description of the project proposed for the project report
  3. Writing of a project report in line with specifications provided by the certification office, based on a case experienced in practice by the candidate, and interview with two assessors.
